I don't want anyone to have to go through the pain I just went through so I thought I'd share the fruits of my labor...this took me way longer than I'm willing to admit, so y'all better appreciate :)
The lack of a good-looking modern smartphone shape in Visio has been a pet peeve of mine for a while so I gave in and made my own, painstakingly mimicking the look and feel of the built-in network diagram shapes in Visio. Little did I know that I would be fighting for hours with Visio's crap SVG renderer to draw the file properly...
BUT ALAS! I finally nailed it, with some minor compromises to appease the renderer that only those with severe OCD will notice (e.g. the screen gradient doesn't exactly match the stock icons). Now you will never have to use a crappy PDA or tablet shape when you really want a mobile phone device again. Bask in all its glory:
