operator ==(FileId?, FileId?)

Determines whether two FileId instances are equal. Either operand may be null; two null operands are equal, and null equals no instance.

Remarks

The operators accept null because frameworks compare values generically: Entity Framework Core, for one, compares every reference-type property with null through this operator when it takes original values, so an operator that rejected null made the type impossible to map.
