Remarks

Defaults to None (no hardware acceleration), which keeps variation between devices to a minimum. Enabling hardware acceleration allows more variation in the result to improve hardware acceleration utilisation ability.

If you have an AMD or Intel GPU, you may want to explicitly set this to a specific mode that prioritizes your GPU, rather than Auto, as it is assumed that AMD and Intel acceleration modes represent a CPU's integrated media engine instead, which would be undesirable to use over a high-power device like a GPU.
